I met this sweet family living in Mt. Pleasant in Washington DC a few months ago for a maternity session. I immediately hit it off with their two year old and it was so fun getting to see her again and meet their new baby girl. Both girls are clearly made for the camera and made my job so easy.

I loved meeting this little girl and her awesome parents. They had a beautiful well lit bedroom and two adorable dogs (scroll down to see). She was a perfect little model with bright eyes.

This newborn session was a dream. Their beautiful DC row house got tons of light and baby S barely made a peep the whole time. We got to use their beautiful nursery and bedroom to capture her mom and dad getting to know her and all her little expressions.

This is one of my favorite DC Families. I met them when this guy was still inside and we did maternity photos, then newborn photos, and now that he is one year old we are capturing them at this fun and exciting time in their lives! He is just on the edge of walking so all he wanted to do was…walk. I am excited to meet his little sister this winter!

I was so excited to see this family again. I met them when this big sister was just a newborn and she is now a fun and special toddler. There are so many DC families that I have gotten to watch grow over the years-from newborn to big kid. She is always lots of fun and I know her brother will catch up to her soon enough. This family was so wonderful. They had a beautiful DC apartment on Capitol Hill filled with family heirlooms and beautiful art to welcome their sweet baby boy. I am so glad I could capture this time for them while this little one is still small.

I was lucky enough to photograph this little guy the day before his big first birthday. He was smiley and sweet and made the perfect photo session. His dad was willing to do all sorts of funny things to get a laugh out of this one-I always appreciate that! Happy first birthday to all of them!
