This family and I go way back. Their daughter-now a 5th grader!-was one of my first newborns I ever photographed. She was easy and cute and I’ve had the pleasure of her two little brothers over the years. The big siblings were so caring and excited to show me their new baby brother. It is so fun watching these family grow over the years and I’m so glad we could meet again for this newborn photo session in their Chevy Chase, MD home.
These are very old friends of mine. In fact, I was there when they first met. They now have this beautiful family and wanted to get updated family photos as a birthday gift. I thought this was a great idea and I love that we could make a beautiful summer evening work-easier with bigger kids. Of course, having a big beautiful backyard to use helped too. If you can swing a summer evening session, I highly recommend it.
I was so glad this family let me capture their new baby boy in their new house in Chevy Chase, DC. Both big brother and little brother did great-one slightly more still than the other. Big brother was happy to play for a few minutes and then we were able to focus on the new baby.
This newborn session in Chevy Chase, DC was so wonderful. This big brother eagerly welcomed me to his house with lots of stories and questions. I love a fun toddler to add some fun while new babies tend to sleep through much of our time together. They have a beautiful home that was the perfect spot to photograph these early newborn days.
I love seeing this family year after year. This is my third year in a row photographing these cute girls always in front of their beautiful Washington DC home. Both girls seem so grown up now and are fun to photograph each year.
I first met this family when big brother was born. He is now a full blown toddler full of smiles and energy. I loved being able to capture his new role as big brother and their life as they welcomed this new baby home.
This session could not have been more lovely. This mom and dad to be wanted to capture this special time in their lives at Lincoln Park where they got engaged! And I was so happy they brought along their sweet lab. We had beautiful weather and lighting and I can’t wait to hear their good news soon.
This little boy is one of Tenleytown’s newest residents and I’m so glad I was able to photograph him and his sweet parents. They have a beautiful nursery in their Washington DC home.
I loved getting to capture this two week old little guy with his parents (and pups!). He did so great for his first photo session and even let me get a look at his beautiful eyes. We were able to capture some photos with the family dogs-the first “babies” too.
These two siblings could not have been sweeter. I loved playing with this fun and energetic big brother (who even got to pretend he was a photographer!) and this sweet baby sister who was awake almost the whole time. They were both such great photo subjects and are two of my new favorite photo subjects in Chevy Chase!
