This tiny little babe was a dream to photograph. Her parents got lots of light in there DC row house bedroom (which is not always the case). She slept when we wanted her to and opened her eyes for just a few minutes so we could get her awake too. While I don’t like to pose newborns, I do like to capture them all cozy and asleep and she knew her role! I wish all Washington DC Newborns were this peaceful.
This family got in touch once their baby girl had arrived and I’m so glad they did. Despite snow and schedules, we found a beautiful bright day to capture their new dynamic as a family of four in their beautiful Bethesda home. Big brother warmed up quickly and made for such a fun photo session.
I first met this family when big brother was born. He is now a full blown toddler full of smiles and energy. I loved being able to capture his new role as big brother and their life as they welcomed this new baby home.
This little boy is one of Tenleytown’s newest residents and I’m so glad I was able to photograph him and his sweet parents. They have a beautiful nursery in their Washington DC home.
I loved getting to capture this two week old little guy with his parents (and pups!). He did so great for his first photo session and even let me get a look at his beautiful eyes. We were able to capture some photos with the family dogs-the first “babies” too.
What more could a newborn photographer hope for than a beautiful baby boy in a bright and warm nursery? This little guy and his fan club were so fun to photograph and chat with.
This newborn was a pleasure to photograph. I often am excited when I am able to capture a newborn smile but this guy was full of them and they even seemed intentional. I am so glad I was able to photograph at him at this sweet stage. His parents had a beautiful nursery and a lot of patience-both so helpful in getting beautiful newborn photographs!
This newborn session was a gift from this sweet baby’s lovely aunt. His aunt contacted me and arranged all the details for her sister to have this wonderful newborn session. I’m so glad she arranged it because it was a dream. I know how much his parents will cherish these photos forever.
This little boy was only a few weeks but already such a great little model. Most newborns are some combination of fussy or sleepy during their photos but he was wide awake showing off his beautiful big eyes which his parents (and visiting Grandma) just adored looking at. It is clear he is already so loved.
This was a perfect session. Not only did they have this adorable well-lit nursery but little baby R was a dream-sleeping almost the entire time and calmly looking around when she woke up. She had a lot of family already visiting her in their downtown DC condo and we were able to capture them as well.
